Once a group of fifty people was taking part in a meeting. The meeting, which began just a few minutes ago was interrupted by the speaker suddenly and he gave balloons to all the participants
 and  said, "you all have to write your name on a balloon by the marker". everybody did so.

Now the balloons were placed in another room.
The speaker asked all the participant to enter that room together and find the balloon with their name  in five minutes

All participants walked into the room and quickly began to find the balloon with their name soon it created great chaos in the room.

Confused not getting the balloon with their name written on it 5 minutes later everybody was called out of that room by the speaker.

The speaker said, "Hey! what happen? why you are all empty-handed?
Did no body found the balloon with his name on it?
No ! We searched a lot but every time found a balloon with someone else's name written on it.
said a participant sadly.

It's alright, you people go into that room again, but this time whichever balloon comes to your hand take it and call the person whose name is written on it. said the speaker

All participants were in the room again, but this time all was quiet, and there was no panic in the room.
Everybody gave each other the balloons with their names on it, and came out in just three minutes

In a grave tone, speaker said,

"That's exactly what is taking place in our lives.
Everyone is living for themselves, it makes no sense to him how he can help others he just seems to be looking like crazy for his own happiness and finds nothing but disappointments

 Our happiness is hidden in the happiness of others

When you learn to give others their happiness
You will find your own happiness automatically then.

And that's the purpose of human life.

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. 
He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. 
However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the
 door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought
 he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it
 slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?” 
“You don’t owe me anything,” she replied. “Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.” He said…”Then I thank you from my heart.”
 As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Year’s later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her ward. Dressed in his doctor’s gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. 
He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, and then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room.
 She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her
 life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her
 attention on the side of the bill. 
She read these words… “Paid in full with one glass of milk.

Once a psychology professor walked around on a stage while teaching stress management principles to an auditorium filled with students.  As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the typical “glass half empty or glass half full” question.  Instead, with a smile on her face, the professor asked, “How heavy is this glass of water I’m holding?”

Students shouted out answers ranging from eight ounces to a couple pounds.

She replied, “From my perspective, the absolute weight of this glass doesn’t matter.  It all depends on how long I hold it.  If I hold it for a minute or two, it’s fairly light.  If I hold it for an hour straight, its weight might make my arm ache a little.  If I hold it for a day straight, my arm will likely cramp up and feel completely numb and paralyzed, forcing me to drop the glass to the floor.  In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it feels to me.”

As the class shook their heads in agreement, she continued, “Your stresses and worries in life are very much like this glass of water.  Think about them for a while and nothing happens.  Think about them a bit longer and you begin to ache a little.  Think about them all day long, and you will feel completely numb and paralyzed – incapable of doing anything else until you drop them.”

The moral:  It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses and worries.  No matter what happens during the day, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down.  Don’t carry them through the night and into the next day with you.  If you still feel the weight of yesterday’s stress, it’s a strong sign that it’s time to put the glass down.

A man stopped by a florist's stall to order some flowers to be delivered to his mother who lived three hundred miles away.

As he moved out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on a bench sobbing.

He asked her what's the matter? Why she is so sad?  and she replied, "I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother.

But all I have is eighty-five cents, and a rose costs three dollars."

The man smiled and said, "Come with me. I'll buy you a rose."

He bought the little girl her rose and ordered his own mother's flowers.

As they were leaving he offered the girl a ride home.

She said, "Yes, please! You can take me to my mother."

She directed him to a cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly dug grave.

The man returned to the florist, canceled the delivery order, picked up a bouquet and drove the three hundred miles to his mother's house.

Despair, Lost all hopes, Depression, Lost everything in my life, Unhappy with life - WISH TO COMMIT SUICIDE.!!


These are some words our eyes and ears have gone used to. You can get to read them in bulk on almost every social platform be it Quora, FB etc. and it's no surprise these days, if any of your friends or siblings come to you and utter one of these.

It's really heartbreaking and awestrucking experience when a 17 year old asks you

"I am 17, having lost all hopes in my life, I wish to commit suicide. What should I do?"

This article of mine is dedicated to that 17 year old teenager and to all those out there who are experiencing difficulties and disparities in or other sphere of their lives.


TWO STORIES


First


Recalling the very staggering and bloodcurdling sequence from the box-office hit 3- idiots,

where a brilliant student successfully attempts a RF aircraft for his final year project, which when he shows to the college principal, gets ruthlessly rejected and a very short dead line is then given to him to create an entirely new project & he is warned that if he fails to do so he 'FAILS'.

The boy under tremendous pressure, dismay, frustration, hangs himself! commits suicide!

THE END


A similar episode once took place at Madras Institute of Technology. A young talented engineering student was assigned a project to design a low-level attack aircraft, together with 4 colleagues.

The boy started off with his team putting in every effort to make the best design. One day the director of the institute reviews his progress and declares it dismal & disappointing.

The boy offered score of excuses but none moved the professor. The professor with no-mercy, said "It's Friday after noon, I give you three days, if by Monday morning I don't get it on my table your scholarship stands terminated".

The boy was dumbstruck, as if all of a sudden whole of his world came to a shattering, as if his breathes were snatched from him, coming from a weak financial background, his only life line- The Scholarship. And an impossible looking deadline.

No Hopes! No Escape! Dark!

What happened next?

The boy abandoned all foods and rest & continued to work day and night with all his might and after sweating his guts out when he was about to finish his project on the Sunday morning, he felt someone else's presence in his room, the institute director it was! who after inspecting his work hugged him, patted his back & said "I knew I was putting you under stress & asking you to meet a very difficult deadline. I never expected you to perform so well".

and later this young boy got his recognition as the people's president, the missile man, yes! the young boy was none other than the legendary scientist, former president of India Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.


Second


Nick Vujicic: a man with no limbs who teaches people how to get up.

Shocked? I was too. He was born in Melbourne, Australia with the rare tetra-amelia disorder: limbless missing both arms at shoulder level and having one small foot with toes protruding from his left thigh.

Despite the absence of limbs, doing surfing & swimming & playing golf & soccer.

Nick graduated at the age of 21 with a double major in Accounting and Financial planning. He began his travels as a motivational speaker, focusing on the topics that today's teenagers face.

Why is it that in the same situation with very little hope to succeed two young students acted so differently? why is it that in a condition in which most of the people will hate themselves & wish to end their lives, Nick is not only enjoying his life but spreading the message of hope in the entire world.

I define the reason in 5 words.

-COURAGE, PERSEVEARANCE, HARDWORK, and PAITENCE-

The greatest of all human qualities is that of becoming unstoppable, and you become unstoppable when you refuse to quit no matter what happens.

Make it a point in your life no matter how big a problem, how hard a time you have! they are always too small in front of you, the god created the whole universe, and he created you and he only created those problems and for this you are born with all the capabilities to survive them.

You were given your life because you are strong enough to live it, you can always stand up like a warrior and battle the adversities off and be victorious like A.P.J. Abdul Kalam & Nick Vujicic or you can be a real coward, you can choose the easiest path, you can choose to quit, you can end with every difficulty in just one shot of a bullet or hanging yourself for few minutes.

The choice is always yours!

History is theirs whose language is the sun.
